Privacy policy
This page explains what information is collected and kept, and why, and what your choices are. If you have any concerns contact privacy@trcloud.dev
what we keep
- Your account: Your username, password, your emojicon and the date joined. We do NOT ask for your email.
- Your password is scrambled and encrypted before it is saved. Nobody including us can read it at all.
- Your flashcard content: The decks and flashcards you create or saved and your progress.
- Photos you scan: When you scan a flashcard the photo is sent to a cloudflare workers AI ran entirely on cloudflares servers either of which (Llama 4 Scout, made by Meta. Mistral Small 3.1, made by Mistral. Llama 3.2 Vision, made by Meta.)
- AI Tutor: The questions and sentences typed are sent to cloudflare workers AI. Your chat is not saved but we keep a count of how many AI uses per day.
- Tech Info: Your ip is kept for up to 24hrs so we can block and prevent misuse of Révise
- On device: A login cookie is stored on device keeping you signed in for up to 30 days and your quiz style
What we dont do
- We dont show advertisements or try to sell you anything.
- We dont sell or share your info for marketing at all
Why we keep some info
- To run the app and let you login
- Storing of flashcard info
- To give you feedback
- To track your progress
- To keep the service safe and fair.
Other companies hadling your data:
Cloudflare
- To run AI models and provide prompts (Note Révise does not send any personal information to cloudflare workers AI only what is sent is the prompts text not anything to do with your Révise account)
Google Fonts
- Is what is used for the fonts in Révise. When a page loads the browser asks google for the files. Google can then see your IP address.
Who can see what?
Admins can see other users username, icon and number of deck,s and join date but they cannot see what is inside the flashcards. Admins can disable and delete accounts. They cannot see passwords including trcloud. As the person who runs the database trcloud.dev all that can be accessed is the username and stored cards, and will only do so to resolve a issue.
Your rights.
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the information held about you, correct it, or have it entirely deleted from the systems. To do any of these contact privacy@trcloud.dev
